The Irkutsk Region is one of the most active participants in the Presidential Program and is at the forefront of post-program work. Since the Program's implementation, the region has trained more than 1,450 specialists and managers, more than 300 of whom have completed internships abroad. Leaders from the shores of Lake Baikal are currently working to create a nationwide community of Presidential Program participants, with Andrei Khankhalaev, president of the Irkutsk Alumni Association, elected as its head.
