Representatives from 39 countries are participating in the Technoprom-2023 forum.
NOVOSIBIRSK, August 23 – RIA Novosti. Representatives from 39 countries are participating in the Technoprom-2023 international technological development forum, currently underway in the Novosibirsk Region, the regional government reports.
"I am glad to see you in the Novosibirsk Region. Over the ten years of its existence, Technoprom has become the main scientific and technological event in our country. Representatives from 39 countries are participating in the forum, including delegations from 82 regions of our country," said regional Governor Andrey Travnikov at a meeting with the heads of foreign delegations.
The governor noted that he is pleased to see the broad geographic interest in Technoprom, including the Far East, Central Asia, the Arab world, Africa, and South America. Among the important areas where mutually beneficial cooperation can be developed, he highlighted educational and medical tourism, science, and industry, including aviation.
The largest delegation is from Belarus: the forum was attended by the republic's leaders, including representatives of industry ministries, as well as representatives of the National Academy of Sciences. The partner country has a separate booth at the exhibition, featuring major companies in the machine tool industry.

The governor also discussed technical and investment opportunities for cooperation and the creation of technology transfer models for scientific and technological projects with representatives of foreign delegations. This year, delegates from the Republic of Belarus, the Islamic Republic of Iran, the Federative Republic of Brazil, the People's Republic of China, the United Arab Emirates, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Kingdom of Bahrain, the Arab Republic of Egypt, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Mali, the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, the Republic of Sudan, the Republic of Tunisia, the Republic of Uzbekistan, and the Republic of Chad are participating in the Technoprom Forum.
The Technoprom 2023 Forum is being held as part of the Russian Science and Technology Week from August 22 to 25. The forum program includes 227 events across ten main tracks. More than 250 companies and 145 exhibitors are participating in the forum's technology exhibition. The main organizers of the forum are the Government of the Russian Federation and the Government of the Novosibirsk Region.
