YSTU launches a Formula BRICS sports-technical team — 24 August 2024

As part of efforts to strengthen scientific partnerships and technological development, the Yaroslavl State Technical University team is preparing to participate in Formula BRICS races with strategic support from the International Development Fund, headed by Dr. Hussein Arif, and the Russian Association of Inventors and Innovators (VOIR). This initiative aims to nurture talent in engineering fields and provide the necessary technical equipment, as well as enhance international collaboration and cooperation between technical universities to improve student performance and enable them to compete on the global stage. The event witnessed a remarkable public turnout, with families and children flocking to the exhibition booths to take souvenir photos inside the Formula car cockpit. The festive atmosphere combined the excitement of racing with the warmth of community events, giving motorsport a popular dimension and transforming it from a competitive sport into a comprehensive community activity. The event concluded with an affirmation of the commitment to organizing such gatherings regularly, supporting motorsport culture in the Russian Federation and solidifying its ongoing partnerships between the industrial, educational, and social sectors.
